She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hamby; parents, Ed & Ethel Davis Henry; son, William Johnny Hamby; granddaughter, Jessica Lee Hamby; brother and sisters in law, Kinley Hamby, Dempsey Hamby, Freeman Hamby, Luther Hamby, Venus Griffith, Slyvia Beasley and Annie Melhorn.
She is survived by her children, Kathy & Don Storher of Seymour, Tn., Dennis & Tabitha Hamby, Joe & Patsy Hamby, Randy & Phyllis Hamby, Raymond & Cheryl Hamby and daughter-in-law, Brenda Hamby all of Wartburg; brother, Cledys & Shirley Henry of Heath, OH; brother in laws, Nathan & Diana Hamby, David & Judy Hamby, and George Melhorn; sister in laws, Josephine & Billy McGhee and Sue Hamby; 17 grandchildren, and a host of great & great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Dossy drove a special education bus for Morgan County Schools and worked in the Central Elementary School Cafeteria for years. She was employed at Red Kapp in Wartburg. She loved crocheting, swinging on the porch, and reading but most of all she loved being around her family.
